My name is Matt.

I am your typical gaming geek father who enjoys all aspects of my fandoms.

My painting of miniatures began over 30 years ago when I saw some miniatures from the Lord of the Rings on display inside a shop built into the hollow of a giant Redwood tree in the Redwood Forest in California.

It was a magical moment when I realized that these little miniatures existed to be painted. Thus started my quest to learn how to paint.

Years later I now am on another quest.

A quest to impart to others the knowledge learned by painting miniatures for over 30 years.

I hope that I am able to inspire not just current miniature painters, but new painters to come and join the awesome experience that is miniature painting.
